Lessons Online

If you are interested in lessons but don't live in Central Florida, schedule an online lesson using Skype or G-Chat! Here's how it's done:

1) Send me an e-mail with the subject: "Online Lesson Request" and in the body of the e-mail tell me a little about yourself. Start with your name, age, and location, then tell me about your musical experience. What instrument do you play? How long have you been playing? Are you currently playing in a school or community group? What are you hoping to get out of your lesson? etc.

+++Most importantly, include your availability AND time zone!+++

2) Wait for a response from me. (I try my best to return e-mail requests within 48 hours) In my response I will include a little more information about how the Online Lesson will go, maybe ask a few more questions about what you're looking for, and we'll nail down an official time.

3) Pay using PayPal. Once our lesson time is scheduled I will send a link to a super-secret payment page. Once you have the link you can pay at any time BEFORE our lesson. I recommend you don't wait until the last minute as that may delay the start of our lesson.

4) WRITE DOWN the day, date, and time of our lesson and try to test out your equipment with a friend *PRIOR* to the day of the lesson. Make sure your friend can see and hear your instrument and voice clearly, as this will make it much easier for me to evaluate your playing and make all the right suggestions.

5) Log on a little early to your lesson just to make sure everything is working properly and have your instrument, music, pencils, staff paper, printed pdfs (if I sent you any), and lots of questions ready to go and we'll be off and running!

6) After the lesson, I hope you'll practice, think, tinker, and create! And don't be a stranger! Email with questions or news of any breakthroughs or breakdowns. And when you feel ready, ask to schedule another lesson, or to schedule regular, recurring lessons.
